I am having serious problems with my laptop.
I've had a few people look at it, but they say they can't fix it.
1. Every Internet Browser Crashes.
2. Ads pop up everywhere all the time. I've turned off pop-up blocker. Should I turn it on?
3. I've also experienced blue screens where my laptop shuts down by it's self.
Blue screen says something about experiencing a problem.
4. Little boxes pop up talking about errors. So I send the errors to Microsoft to see if it can fix it... but no luck.
5. Laptop is fast, but slows down a lot.
6. When it slows down, I don't even have a lot of tabs open, usually its just one.
7. The only web pages I visit is Facebook, Youtube, Tagged, and Google.
8. Every time I turn on my laptop I always have to install updates that are ready to be installed.
9. Most the time they install. But, since my laptop is messing up, updates don't seem to install...
10. I have a IBM Windows Xp Professional.
11. I always installed Internet Explore 8.
12. Everything is up to date on my laptop.
I just think it has a virus... I google for programs that can fix my problems but I don't have money for most them, so I look for absolutely free programs to install scan and fix all problems... Does anyone know what is going on with my latptop??
If you need more information just ask me and I'll try and give you an answer.
Thanks a lot!!!!

You may be better off re-installing Windows here. Hopefully you already have an anti-virus program running and are behind a firewall. Your usage for the computer points to someone that does not really know what to avoid online to keep from getting this stuff, I'm guessing you have at least 2 toolbars of some sort installed in the web browser.

Aside from installing and running Malwarbytes, have someone that knows about computers make you a bootable antivirus rescue disk, the one from Avira Antivir works well. Run a full scan with that as well.

That will only clean out any junk you have installed on the system, it will not fix any issues that it caused outside of what the virus or spyware does on it's own. That's why I think a clean...

Okay I'll try installing Windows from here. Thanks for your advice.
Also, every time I click on a page to write something or I click someone, and lot of web pages open randomly... and the address are like a bunch of words and numbers, which I think that's part of the problem.. But hopefully I can fix it, cause this is the best laptop I've had for a long time, and it seems like every time I use one it goes bad real quick and I don't understand why. But thanks once again.
