Which monitor to buy?

Hi!

I am looking to buy a 27" monitor. First i bought a Samsung SA950D (for 2D use.) But it had bad pixels so i had to get my money back, since they did not have any stocks.

So now I only have three options. But if non of them are good, i am going to wait and see. These are my options,

1. VIEWSONIC VX2753mh-LED

2. AOC E2795Vh 27" LED backlit monitor

3. AOC I2757Fh 27" LED backlit IPS monitor

I was only able to check the AOC IPS monitor and its brightness was not that high compared to SA950.

So can anyone tell me whether above are good like the SA950??

You will benefit with any FPS beyond 60 with a 120hz monitor. However, you raise a good point, if you struggle to get 60 or don't get much above it then there would be little difference. In my experience though, a monitor stays around a lot longer than a graphics card before it's upgraded, so it may be worth getting one to future proof a little.

Yes, my interest are to play games and watch movies.
SO i like a bright monitor with good colors.

If your VGA is not capable of producing 120FPS for heavy games like Crysis 3, then is there a point of buying 120Hz monitor??

Well i used that SA950 for a week. It was a 120HZ monitor. the color quality of that monitor was brilliant. So i am more interested in color quality. i am using a 60Hz 24" monitor for three yrs now. So i am ok with the refresh rate.

Thanks for getting back to me.. Specs seemed impressive. But the price looks to cheap for those specs. Are sure the build quality is good??

Yep, the review are excellent. But not there are only 12 reviews. And also first review is dated July 6th 2013. So no one has used it for at least 6 months.
