Hi guys! I have a problem that needs solving again! I have an ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z Motherboard and when I press F2 or Delete to enter the setup of the UEFI BIOS, the bIOS or the setup doesn't come up! Just a blank screen and I have to restart the PC because it gets stuck at that blank screen. If I don't press the F2 or Delete the PC starts up normally so its not a major problem but its annoying! Any suggestions please?

Solution
The USB flashback will only work if you renamed the bios file to the right name,in the download is a small renamer program run it then copy the renamed bios file to a fat32 USB disk and put it in the right USB port above the Ethernet port. With the power off press the USB flashback button. It should start blinking then run then stop. Another way to get into the bios if your using wires less keyboard is clear the CMOS uing the jumper.
One question do you see the asus splash screen and message to kill the del button at post??? With newer intel mb some have the ipgpu as the main video output first. If the ipgpu is the first video try booting off the mb bios.
If no joy see if your mb has the asus USB flashback feature and update the bios with the power off.

All I get when I push the power button is the Republic of Gamers Logo with "Press F2 or DEL to start UEFI BIOS setup" at the bottom of the screen but nothing to kill the delete button. I tried the USB flashback feature but it had no effect. What do you mean when you say "ipgpu" and "booting off the motherboard"?

I think he meant to try the onboard video outputs if you are using an add on video card. Although that should not be an issue as the BIOS screen would come up to the add on card just as well as the onboard video. You may want to contact asus for support, I have a funny feeling that trying to flash the bios with this issue may end up with a bricked motherboard, if you have no display to the BIOS even with the onboard video.

By 'bricked motherboard' you mean that I may need to replace it?
