I'm looking at getting a better gaming performance out my pc I'm looking at getting a amd a8 5600k and cross firing it with a hd 6670 my computer stats are

As rock fm2a75 pro4 m
Amd a4 5300 with integrated graphics
500w psu
Would the new cpu and graphics make that much difference and give me a smoother game play as the set up I got don't let me walk through doors or up stairs if there is a lot happening in the game
Any help would be fantastic

first off the powersupply has plenty of juice to run the setup. however there is no way you are gunna be playing crisis with that setup unfortunately i'm currently running a asus 7950 and a amd fx 6300 at 1080p and i only get about 40fps on crysis 1 maxed out i dont own it but i reckon i would run crysis 3 on med-high at 1080p at only about 30-40fps. However crysis is an extreme circumstance could you specify what fps games you plan on playing you could run cod at low to medium settings just fine (i dont know about ghost but should still be able to on low) however battlefield 3 (and 4) would give you extreme dificulty it might be able to just get it playable but your graphics will be seriously low.

Thanks for the reply I mainly play first person shooters and fifa also sometimes strategy games I have decided instead of buying a ps4 or Xbox 1 I'm gonna do all my gaming on pc. I would like to play crisis 3 as well. I want to play on med/high setting with fluid game play. I'm currently playing on far cry 3 would that cpu and graphic card with my current set up allow me to play in med/high setting

Thank you for your feed back i have looked into it and I'm thinking of getting either GeForce gtx650 ti boost or hd7770
athlon 2 x4 750k
Could you recommend which graphic card and would this set up be better then the previous set up I listed

definetly the 650ti un less your willing to wait a few months for the lower end gtx 700 series cards to come out and yes this set up will be much better the 650ti will run battlefield 3 at medium is my guess ive read the benchmarks and it can definetly run it however i cant remember what settings low to medium probably at 1080p.
