I had Previously had Windows 8, hoping it would be an upgrade, a significant one, at that. However I was faced with a few problems, the main on being actually playing battlefield 3, on it, with is a HUGE problem, as thats all I really do on my PC, So I installed Windows 7 once again.
The installation went smoothly , had a problem with my wireless keyboard and mouse not responding during installation, but I quickly noted that my the wireless dongle was connected to a USB 3.0 port as appose to windows installation support for USB 2.0.
So it was installed and worked, however even with my ethernet cable actually connect to my motherboard, I was not able to get the internet working.
My Build:
CPU : Intel i7 2700K Clock Speed
GPU: GTX 770 Asus
Mobo: Asrock gen3 Extreme7 Z68
RAM: 4 Sticks of G-Skill 4gb (16GB)
SSD: Samsung 840 250GB Pro
I believe I may need to install drivers, but looking through the avalible drivers for my motherboard with Windows 7, there don't seem to be any driver for ethernet connectivity, although I could very well be wrong.
Any tips, or advice, really need to have battlefield up and running, thanks.
