When are you purchasing the parts ? I plan to purchase the CPU+GPU+Graphics Card in the next couple of months as I get the money, and the other parts as I go.

What is your budget ? My budget is about $900. At the very max $1,000. Truth be told, like with anyone, if I could get the same performance for a much lower price that would be amazing. College fees and all, if its a $100 or more under the budget would be sweet but not required. Because I mean, I could get my hands on the parts sooner if the total cost ends up being a couple hundred less than I had anticipated.

What are your needs ? This would be a gaming pc entirely. I do plan on wathcing movies on it from time to time (blu-ray if possible). The game I play as much as possible is Mists of Pandaria (Warcraft). I do have a copy of The Force Unleashed and L.A. Noire somewhere so it'd be nice having a system that can finally play those. If possible I'd be interested in playing Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs and Far Cry III. But wow is the game I play by far the most.

Your expectations from the PC : An OC PC would be a plus but not required. I've done my bit of research and it doesn't seem too difficult at least with the "K" processors.

Your location : I'm in Southwest Florida, Naples to be specific. No Micro Center relatively close. Best Buy is...but seems expensive compared to online retailers.

Your preferred sellers/websites : I am willing to give other sites a try, but if possible, Amazon would be great. I've done quite a bit of shopping there and it all has gone well.

Your part choices : I already have a case http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Carbide-Series-Computer-CC-9011012-WW/dp/B005E983JW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1376928217&sr=8-2&keywords=corsair+500r which I got for $90. That being said, I'd like to use it.

Are you upgrading or taking parts from any older PC/laptop ? No

Why are you upgrading ? My 7 year old PC is way too outdated and now being used by my grandparents, and my laptop is outdated and not suitable for anything else than web surfing and Microsoft Office.

Your current PC specs : N/A

Do you plan to upgrade this PC ? Not anytime soon but yes. I do not see myself upgrading this PC until "at least" 3 years or so from now.

Do you need a OS or any other software ? N/A

Do you need any Monitor ? I would like about a 19" monitor. Can be bigger though not much bigger, I don't want a large monitor. I'd rather not be smaller either. As for resolution, I am not sure, so I will rely on your suggestions for my needs.

Do you need any peripheral ? I need a keyboard, mouse, mousemat, and speakers. It would be great if the mouse or keyboard (at least the mouse) was a gaming mouse but if it's too dificult to fit in because of the budget I'm sure I can play with a regular one.

Any other notes : If its not too much trouble and you could provide a pcpartpicker list that would be great, its a very neat and organized way to see everything.

Thank you

How simple would this CPU/Mobo Bios be to overclock in comparison to a K model on an asrock (i saw someone overclock that one). And thanks by the way, the price is pretty nice, if I could fit the extras like the monitor, mouse, and keyboard along with these things at the same price it would be amazing, but probably too dificult?

You would have to make some sacrifices, yes, but I could make you another build so you could include accessories if you give me a budget :) as for OCing, the FX and Intel's "k" chips are both unlocked for easy overclocking. It would be just as easy to overclock the FX. They are also know as very good overclockers, with the FX-8350 that I included often breaking 5Ghz on good coolers.

That would be amazing. Could you possibly try to include the accessories without going over $1,000? Even if it means cutting slightly somewhere. A couple dollars more its fine. By the way thank you a bunch. I have no one nearby I can ask advice on this matter

Actually, not much was sacrificed: a bit slower CPU, worse CPU cooler, cheaper MB and that's it! Should perform the same in gaming. Its $975 with a monitor so I left a few $ for keyboard and mouse. I know nothing about that so I advise you to make your own choice. I'm pretty cheap when it come to accessories haha. Anyways hope you enjoy! http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kirilmatt/saved/2cTA

That looks amazing, you are a lifesaver! Just a quick question, do you know how difficult the MSI Bios is to navigate say in comparison to the Asrock? I hear Asus looks complicated. Also, do I need to fit in an SSD even if low capacity?

I don't have personal experience, but it should be easy. These boards are designed to let you overclock. I really wouldn't worry about it at all! As for the SSD, I consider it a luxury. Sure, you get better boot times and program start times, but at the current costs it isn't worth it. It is certainly not necessary, and even less useful for desktops. I don't recommend it in budgets $1500 and under personally.
