When are you purchasing the parts ? I plan to purchase the CPU+GPU+Graphics Card in the next couple of months as I get the money, and the other parts as I go.
What is your budget ? My budget is about $900. At the very max $1,000. Truth be told, like with anyone, if I could get the same performance for a much lower price that would be amazing. College fees and all, if its a $100 or more under the budget would be sweet but not required. Because I mean, I could get my hands on the parts sooner if the total cost ends up being a couple hundred less than I had anticipated.
What are your needs ? This would be a gaming pc entirely. I do plan on wathcing movies on it from time to time (blu-ray if possible). The game I play as much as possible is Mists of Pandaria (Warcraft). I do have a copy of The Force Unleashed and L.A. Noire somewhere so it'd be nice having a system that can finally play those. If possible I'd be interested in playing Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs and Far Cry III. But wow is the game I play by far the most.
Your expectations from the PC : An OC PC would be a plus but not required. I've done my bit of research and it doesn't seem too difficult at least with the "K" processors.
Your location : I'm in Southwest Florida, Naples to be specific. No Micro Center relatively close. Best Buy is...but seems expensive compared to online retailers.
Your preferred sellers/websites : I am willing to give other sites a try, but if possible, Amazon would be great. I've done quite a bit of shopping there and it all has gone well.
Your part choices : I already have a case http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Carbide-Series-Computer-CC-9011012-WW/dp/B005E983JW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1376928217&sr=8-2&keywords=corsair+500r which I got for $90. That being said, I'd like to use it.
Are you upgrading or taking parts from any older PC/laptop ? No
Why are you upgrading ? My 7 year old PC is way too outdated and now being used by my grandparents, and my laptop is outdated and not suitable for anything else than web surfing and Microsoft Office.
Your current PC specs : N/A
Do you plan to upgrade this PC ? Not anytime soon but yes. I do not see myself upgrading this PC until "at least" 3 years or so from now.
Do you need a OS or any other software ? N/A
Do you need any Monitor ? I would like about a 19" monitor. Can be bigger though not much bigger, I don't want a large monitor. I'd rather not be smaller either. As for resolution, I am not sure, so I will rely on your suggestions for my needs.
Do you need any peripheral ? I need a keyboard, mouse, mousemat, and speakers. It would be great if the mouse or keyboard (at least the mouse) was a gaming mouse but if it's too dificult to fit in because of the budget I'm sure I can play with a regular one.
Any other notes : If its not too much trouble and you could provide a pcpartpicker list that would be great, its a very neat and organized way to see everything.
Thank you
