Query about resolution

Hey guys i wanted to know how 1920x1080 resolution would be on 21.5inch monitor. the main purpose of this monitor is for office work (mostly word document related typing). would be a strain on the eyes compared to 720p displays or will it be perfect?

Higher resoltion means crisper images and less eye strain

Make sure its connected with a digital connector . DVI , display port or HDMI
and not VGA which refreshes pages pixel by pixel and can cause some people eye strain

I also would not use an older 3 x4 aspect ratio . A modern widescreen monitor lets you have two or more documents/windows open at one time and can improve productivity a lot

I personally find higher resolution displays reduce eye strain, since they produce sharper images, or words (especially true at close distances to the monitor). Also, you get more desktop real estate space (more pixels, can fit 2 windows side by side etc).

what about a 1280x1024 17inch display? is that good for word documents?
