Hello to everyone i am a new member of this community but been watching this forum alot.So i upgraded my pc.In detail:
Motherboard : ASROCK H61M-GS B3
CPU:INTEL CORE I5-3470 3.20GHZ LGA1155
GPU:GIGABYTE GTX650 TI GV-N65TOC-2GI 2GB DDR5
Ram:KINGSTON KHX1600C9AD3B1/2G 2GB HYPERX DDR3 and KINGSTON KHX1600C9D3B1/4G 4GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHZ CL9 HYPERX
PSU: Its a really old one all i know is that can provide me 500W

So the thing is that when i attached this new cpu and gpu my pc wouldnt start(was working before).Tried even without graphic card and same thing but when i unplugged the at connector ( 8pin) from my motherboard everything was working (though nothing can be done without atx connected). What am i supposed to do ? Any idea?
Thnx in advance

pull motherboard and check standoffs. could be a grounding issue.

do you have the right BIOS to support new cpu?

are you sure all connections ( ps to board and other hardware ) are firmly attached?

did you seat the heat-sink and fan properly?......... you did reapply new thermal paste?

what power supply? read label. and what are the readings under 12v?

what were you using for video before you installed the card?
