as in the title, im looking at getting a gtx 770, im torn between the msi lightning 2gb or a palit jetscream 4gb, i use 1 monitor at 1920 x 1080 but i do play in 3d quite a bit, is the extra 2gb vram going to help? i need the card to last as long as possible as im out of money for pc for at least 2 years....many thanks! :)

It will have virtually no effect. For your resolution it is useless. If you were using more then one monitor it wouldn't be, but the 770 is probably too weak to power more then 1 for gaming anyways. In other words save your money :)

Go with the 2gb card from MSI because you will only use the extra VRAM if you are gaming at resolutions over 1080p which you are not.
Also the msi card overclocks very well :)
