This morning I was typing a paper for school and then i finished so i decided to go play some BF3 but as soon as i joined a server and i started moving around i hit the D button and it cosed down the program and then i noticed there is about 15 buttons that dpo this on my keyboard plese help gaming and typing are both impossible and im not done with my paper Im sure its a very easy fix but I just cant figure it out, It is so bad I had to type this from my brothers computer.

Keyboard Unusable Please Help!

Is there a possibility a key could have been pressed that changes the function of some of the keys?
For example, on my Dell Latitude D531, pressing the Num Lock key activates a numeric keypad that uses the same keys as some of the letters.

There are desktop keyboards that do something similar. It's a rare feature because of the size of the keyboard, but it does exist. In fact, the Logitech media keyboard I have plugged into my desktop has an F-mode key that remaps the F-keys.
