I have Windows Vista (came with the computer) now, but I'd like to change out my motherboard and CPU, do I have to replace wondows with a new one, or can I just reactivate it?
Vista that came with a PC is tied to the mobo so changing it will require a new copy of Windows. Win 7 is the same way but Win 8 allows you to swap mobos.
