Mobile Phone Issue in Exchange 2010

So I'm the new Network Admin, with the job came the office and the previous admins iphone 5. Small problem being that the phone was synced to his exchange and now will not sync to mine.
So far I have:
Wiped the Phone
Removed the phone in exchange from him
Made sure that my activesync is fine
Tried to add via cmdlet using deviceid
Re-added and Re-removed from his old account(works fine btw)
Now I am out of ideas, any thoughts?

I hate apple. ;) 

I would say try connecting over wifi AND 3g if you can. Try both independently to see if one will work over the other.

Can't help but think there is some kind of a cache in Exchange that needs to be flushed though...
