Even better. The 7870 is a very good card. Glad I could help and remember to pick the best answer when your done :)
You might post a link to where you will shop.
In general, you will get fair value for your money at every price point.
Do not beat yourself up about performance differences.
At a given price point, you can't tell the difference in real life, only with a synthetic benchmark.
That said, there are other factors. If support is important to you, visit the support forums and see how comfortable you are.
Some cards will come with fancy fan coolers. Others will come with stock blower style coolers. There are tradeoffs.
I prefer cards with stock direct exhaust double slot coolers.
They get the hot vga air directly out the back of the case.
Other aftermarket coolers do a good job of cooling the vga chip i an open testbed.
But in a case, but then they just dump ht air back into the case where case cooling has to deal with it.
That heats up both the graphics card AND the cpu.
The cards you are looking at will want about a 500w psu.

Do a search of the forum and other forums, you will see that XFX has got soo many more threads than any other card manufacturer. Trust me on this one, with reviews you need to read BETWEEN the lines and not just the sites conclusions themselves.

Msi `s also overheat i think its just an enomele that happens with most graphic cards and also with the xfx i get 2 free games and also my freind has got the exact same card and the card runs really well

What? All of them?

Mine has yet to go pop so I guess I'll sit on the fence for the moment but I do have to wonder how many of those cards were abused.

That would be relevant to any manufacturer. don't you think?
Just by looking at reviews, you will notice the AVERAGE OCing potential for HD7xxx series card from XFX is lower than any other manufactuerer. I remember seeing one review where voltages were fluctuating like crazy and when checked further they were getting pretty hot too.

And I agree, but with those results you can already safely assume that they are using inferior VRMs that are more likely to fail.
