Corsair memory errors

I had 4 gb of corsair value select ram so I bought 4gb more but it was giving me error(random reboot,computer stuck etc)but when i tested it again it didn't give me any error so why is this.then i tested it two hours ago adn it gave me 12 error(memtest+86)so why are error fluctuating?what should i do
my rig=
i5 2500k
p8h61-mle rev 2.0
cooler master extreme 2 625w power supply
8gb value select memory

Never a good idea to mix sets of DRAM (and yes I know, many here say "Yeah, no problem", but more often than not, it is a problem, and I see it basically daily......Best bet is to manually set the timings and freq (XMP won't work with mixed sets as the programming is by the packaged set - and with more sticks some of the advanced timings you don't see on the package will differ, i.e. might have a tRFC of 208 on a 2 sticks set where it will need 314 on a four stick config), the make sure CR (Command Rate) is 2T or 2N, and add 0.05 to the DRAM voltage and about the same to the MC (memory controller) voltage - this will often help them play nice together

this may sound very dumb but how do i change 1t to 2t in asus efi bios?and thanks for the help

No problem, I'm rather pleased with all 3 that I show, the Haswell, hopefully more so once I get some free time to play with it, got my new cooler Fri, so it will be Tues or Wed before I try and kick it up (letting the AS cure)...but we shall see ;)
