I have this build and I am unsure if I should get this CPU or the Intel i5.

I will be playing games like ARMA 3 and BF4, and high end video editing so I need the RAM.
My budget is $1500 but I don't want to go much higher than I already am.

If you have any other recommendations for it before I order the parts please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Not like anything even relative to twice as fast. By a slight bit. Slight. The 8320 is def the best option. If you are going to go Intel just get a 4770k. No need to pickup a 3570, even the 4670 is good if you aren't overclocking. Pretty much though that AMD is going to get the job done and relatively fast, relative meaning in relation to the other Intel cpus mentioned.

LoL - most people go the other way. Just costs alot more.

Anyways given that theres only a few loads that the fx really flies on with Adobe I would say go intel if you can afford it. The i5-3570 typically beats the fx in many cs6 benchamarks but not like twice as fast.

Many will recommend the 3570K but I would suggest that you instead go for the Haswell 4670K for several reasons.

1) Haswell grants you Hyperthreading. Neither the 3570K or AMD will give you that. Hyperthreading will change your world when using After Effects, trust me.
2) Haswell is far more energy efficient than both the 3570K and AMD.
3) Haswell will give you 10% performance boost ignoring hyperthreading over 3570K.
4) Haswell socket 1150 will be compatible with the next batch of releases so you have some degree of upgradeability you won't find with the 3570k unless you opt for a discontinued Ivy Bridge i7.

Otherwise, the 3570K is still good value for gaming but less interesting for things like After Effects.

The 4670 is your best bet if you go Intel.
