Created a second local disk, how can i delete it?

I accidentally created a second drive while trying to format a hard drive. When I delete it, it says that windows can not delete it while windows is running. How can I get rid of the second local disk?

that does not sound like you were deleting he correct disk. Can you post pics of what you have so we can see. One from my computer and one from disk manager (run diskmgmt.msc) would be great.
