intel 2700k no boot on p8z77-v lk

i just get a black screen wen i put in my i7 2700k in my mobo pc stays on no boot menu but with my i5 2400 works great ps updated bios to newer 1 for the cpu 2700 still black screen

Sounds like either you have a bad CPU, or if you are using the integrated graphics, it could be the IGP part of the 2700k is dead. If you are using the integrated graphics and you have a discrete GPU lying around, try using the discrete card and see if it boots.

ya i got 2 gtx660s in sli and a gt640 physx so bad cpu i payed 200 for it on ebay never shoping ther no more
