So I would be getting 2 1080p monitors, both 23-24 inch and I was wondering if I need a better graphics card (or 2 cards) to power them both, or is that the cpu? I would be getting the gtx 770 thanks

Well not quite since the 770 only has one HDMI so you could plug one monitor directly in but you would need a DisplayPort to HDMI to use another HDMI cable for the second monitor.

Here is one that will work just fine.

Thanks! by using the displayport to HDMI would that lower the quality of the second monitor? or would it be the same as hdmi?
