So i'm going to build my own gaming pc. Problem is I don't know a lot about the parts, just from a bit of research and I found the ones I think I want.
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-G1.Sniper M3 S.1155 Intel Z77 MATX/4D.DDR3/PCIE X16+PCIE X8/4USB3/D-SUB+DVI+HDMI+DP/Creative Aud
Processor: Core I5-4670 4/4cores/Threads 3.40ghz 6m Cache Lga1150
Graphics card: Gigabyte GV-N660OC-2GD GeForce GTX 660 OC 2GB GDDR5 PCI-Express 3.0 DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/Displayport SLI Ready Graphics Card
RAM: Corsair Xms 16 GB 2X8 GB 1333Mhz Cl9 DDR3 Memory Kit Cmx16Gx3M2A1333C9
SSD: 120GB 2.5" SATA III SSD
Power Supply (Not sure if enough power? Is it just the motherboard, Motherboard+graphics card, would like to be told the formula): Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 620W Power Supply with Modular Cabling RS620-SPM2E3-US
Case: Zalman ATX Mid Tower Case - Black Z5PLUS
If I can get help here, it would be appreciated, thanks.

Your motherboard and CPU are not compatible. You will need an 8-series chipset if you want to use that CPU (Z87 for example), or a 3xxx CPU (like an I5-3570) if you want to keep the board. Is that it?
EDIT: Sorry for all the edits.
So is this fine then?
Intel Core i5-3570 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500 BX80637i53570
I heard clock speed is more important than core count with gaming. I'm guessing 3xxx is enough since this motherboard (from what I know) is used for gaming in particular?

Get a 3570k instead, unless you don't want to overclock at all, you can oc slightly with the stock cooler. Even if you get a 3570, the cpu wont be the bottleneck, your graphics card will, so you're fine with that cpu.
Yes, that power supply is enough.
You also need to get a separate hard drive if you'd like to install more than a few games, that ssd is only 120 gb, once windows gets installed, there wont be much more space. I recomend this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682...
Edit: Do NOT get that RAM, 8gb of ram is ALWAYS enough for gaming and 1333Mhz is too slow. Get at least 1600Mhz ram. I reccomend this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682...
Also available in red and blue
Good luck!

Well if my graphics card will bottleneck can you recommend or tell me a few that would work well? Also, my first choice motherboard was
MSI Z77A-G45 ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 SLI SATA3 DVI HDMI VGA DX11 USB3.0
I thought it would be fine with the intel i4 4670 but would that be a lesser gaming build? I figured a "gaming" motherboard would be better but maybe I am mistaken

The majority of the time the gpu IS the bottleneck in gaming, nothing you can do about it, its just how it is. The 660 is a good gpu and you will be happy.
Also, yes, you are right, gaming boards do not make the game itself run better, but special gaming motherboards do other things that are great to have like network prioritization and in this case, oc genie. Not to mention the look very nice. IMO they are worth it.

So the MSI and the 4670 is fine then? I'm not worried about network prioritization or anything. This is my first build pc, so I don't want to go all out. But the question is, Is the MSI motherboard and 4670 and the GPU alright and do all those pieces fit?
EDIT: And I should get 1600 RAM instead of 1333?

No, the non gaming motherboard is not compatible with the 4670 because its z77, not z87. Get the z87 version of that mobo and you will be fine : http://www.ncix.ca/products/?affiliateid=7474144&sku=84...
That is the closest to the z77 g45.
IMO, just get the z87 g45 gaming, its worth the price.
And yes, get 1600 ram instead.

Right.
So to recap, The motherboard in your last post, with the i5 4670 fit together, the praphics card will go just fine, and all this fits in the case and the power source is good, correct? Also, if you could tell me how to tell if a power source is enough, (asking again, do I add all the parts usage or is there a formula for it? Probably a stupid question but it would be nice to know.) And I will have no troubles?

Well firstly, are you planning on getting 8gb or 16gb of 1600mhz ram? 8 is always enough for gaming. Second, you need to get a separate hard drive if you want to use your system for anything else other than running windows and a few programs. The ssd is to install windows and system programs you use alot. Store everyuthing else on a hard drive like the one I reccomended before.
But yes, the 4670 and the Z87 G45 Gaming WILL work together perfectly with the graphics card. And yes, it all fits in the case no problem.
Finally, yes, that power supply is more than enough. After a while of building systems and keeping updated in the tech world you are able to accurately estimate and tell how much power a system needs. However, there are MANY online wattage calculators that you can type your parts into to be sure. You could even use pcpartpicker.
Good luck! Feel free to ask anything else you're curious about!

Ok. This is the closest thing to the z87 gaming, has the same name (I think) is it the same thing? Want to be absolutely sure before I make my move

It's not the same thing, but it will still work with all your parts if you want to save some money. You really won't notice the difference.
Good luck! Don't forget to choose best answer
