Thanks for the fast responses guys! I don't understand what you mean by brass standoffs as I didn't get something like that with my MB. I plugged the PCIe cable into my 760 and I do have power running now. I press the power button and my fans all run. Any idea how I can get to the POST screen for my BIOS now? My monitor says no signal via HDMI cable.

Check the images of motherboard brass standoffs
BTW; I don't see the lower motheboard screws... is the picture from a finished build?

Oh I see what you guys are talking about. I used the standoffs included with my case. I'm doing an HDMI from gpu to monitor screen setup. When I turn the power on my fans will run for about ten seconds, stop, and restart. I'm wondering is this because my CPU cooler didn't have enough thermal paste or could there be another cause

Edit: I just confirmed my pc shuts off after about 10 seconds being on.

Yes, that could be why it's sutting down.. Overheating can make the CPU protection shut it off seconds after turning the computer on.

The entire area seems cool while the pc is on though :/ oh well tomorrow I'll go to radioshack and get some thermal paste. Guess I'm taking her apart tomorrow!

I'm new to building PCs. :) It did have some pre applied, but that's the only problem I can think of. Also the more fans the better I guess.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled everything and I got to the POST screen. I'm having problems with getting my HD recognized now. Should I need to plug in any cables besides a SATA one?

Update: I simply forgot to plug in the power cord for the SATA drive :p. I'm posting this off my new build with W7 installed and I'm in love. I need more thermal paste for the stock CPU fan, but I don't even think it's worth it since there's two case fans next to it and the Tempest 210 has awesome ventilation. Cheers guys!

Hey sorry, I never saw your post! I forgot to order the 212, and my rig has no problems with heat when I'm playing games using the stock fans. Because of that I decided it just wasn't worth getting the 212 when I don't need it. :)
