Hi Guys, I'm in Australia and i'm looking to build my first pc. Ive started with a Thermaltake case, and have a ThermalTake 550W Smart Power power supply on the way. I have approx $600 left in my budget on the box, and i would really like advice on picking some great midrange motherboard/cpu combos that i would be able to run 1 graphics card to start with, with the possibility of upgrading to a 2nd card in the future. All thoughts are greatly appreciated. :)

My answer is to go for either the older Intel i5 3570K or the newer Intel i5 4670K for gaming. The CPU should hit you around 275$AUD. THings to consider about 4670k over the 3570k include better energy consumption, 10% performance boost, hyperthreading, and upgrade/availabilty in the future.

Keep in mind the 3570k may be a favorite, but it is now discontinued.
