So i got crysis 2 from the humble bundle the other day and it was running fine. yesterday i was playing and forgot to set my over clock(doesn't run from boot just in case) it was running fine till i decided i wanted a few more fps so i changed the setting and when the menu switched everything in the environment when ape-sh*t. tried quitting and reloading the floor is either blue or nonexistent, im literally in an invisible world i only see black my gun and my enemies. tried reinstall nothing works. reinstalled my drivers too for the heck of it. any suggestions greatly appreciated.

In that case you should try looking in the AMD Catalyst/NIDIA Control panel for wrong settings. If that doesn't work, try and see if the GPU runs in other PCs.

Just because the glitching doesn't occus in OC mode doesn't mean the OC didn't cause early breaking. You could've strained your card for too long and now it could just have flat out broken.

Seems your GPU can't handle your overclocking anymore.. there's a reason why GPUs come clocked as they are, they usually can't handle much more without becoming imprecise and too hot which leads to them breaking earlier than expected.

Have you tried cleaning your card and running it in default clock config?
What model do you have and how old is it? By how much did you overclock?

7950 pushing 1050 clock from stock 900..its stable enough if i dont go through hours of gaming after lk 5 hours i see artifacts its rock solid at 1020 though i already stress tested it through furmark metro 2033 and it runs lk a champ doesnt reach over 65 - 70 (furmark obviously did). it actually started when i was on stock clocks anyway, it happened when i played around with the settings like some of the environment was ultra some high extreme..i think its loading pieces from each setting and going haywire. and i can run crysis 3 on the oc fine so i really highly doubt its that. its something in the settings i dont know how to reset them..
