I'm having an issue getting my new build to display onto a monitor. I just built it tonight and everything powers on great, but the monitor doesn't detect anything from the motherboard.

My Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

Asus Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory

Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Asus GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card

Corsair Builder 600W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply

Solution
Found this that might work:

1. Unplug the system from the wall and disable the power switch on the back of your PSU
2. Remove your CMOS battery
3. Wait for an 30mins to an hour
4. Plug in your powercord, flip the PSU switch
5. Turn on your system

Also if you unplug the power cord from the back again you might have to do this method again. Might not be the same problem as yours but worth a try

Try different troubleshooting methods, make sure everything is seated properly (all power cords and heatsinks are attached), try booting with only a single stick of memory. You can also try booting the system outside the case just to rule out a shortage.

Also have you tried booting using the integrated graphics instead of through the video card?

I've fixed that now, the 8 pin was not connected, but now the cpu_led is red
