I recently fixed a laptop for a customer of mine and she requested I remove her COA and put it on a piece of paper for her to store in case she needs it later on. Her line of work puts her and her laptop in the field every day and she doesn't want the moisture to affect the label like we all know it does all too easily. My question is this: Can I laminate over the COA with heat laminate or will some color-changing "VOID" (or something like that) appear?

Thanks guys!

Solution
You could try putting a coat of clear nail polish over it. Its pretty strong stuff. I used to really tick my sister off doing that to protect the stickers on my radio control cars as a kid, lol.

I already have it on a page ready-to-go, but that is a great idea as well!

I'm not looking to remove the goo, I pulled the sticker off already and have it adhered to a page. I want to laminate the page but I don't want the sticker to react to the heat from lamination. Thank's for the tip though!

Laminating a windows 7 COA does not affect it at all! I took a chance, knowing it probably didn't matter, but not really expecting a positive outcome and it all went well :)
