Windows 7 64bit
Intel I7-3930k
2 Hd Radeon 7970 crossfired
Asus P9 X79 Pro
SoundBlaster ZxR
Seasonic M12D 850W

When I install catalyst, my sound card no longer shows up. As soon as I uninstall the drivers, the system picks up the sound card again. This setup worked before, 2 video cards and a sound card, then my one card died. RMA, put the new one in, but now I can't get any sound.

Thats the thing, its no longer there. When I try to install the SoundBlaster ZxR manager as well, it says that it can't detect it. Yet when I uninstall catalyst control center, its then able to detect it.

I've had it work before, but it was a different configuration on the mobo, I changed it this time because their was zero space between the sound card and one of the video cards, which I think led to it overheating and dying, or at least might have contributed to it. So im kinda scared to go back to that.

Edit: Solved. Custom installed CCC and unselected the Amd audio drivers.
