every time I try to Download a file from the Internet it keeps telling me the file Couldn't be downloaded. So whenever I click retry the download it ends up doing the something. I can't even upload or install any files from any devices, whether it is pictures or other documents it just wont do it. :??:  I have tried resetting explorer to its original setting, still no change. I even tried changing the download settings still nothing. I'm finding it very difficult to operate my computer without these keen features. It is important because I do all my work on the computer and I don't want to go out and get a new one.

There seems problem with your os i think it might be corrupted as it does not allow to do anything , if you cant format the os , I suggest you rollback the os to previous restore point where you know it was working perfectly fine.

Before you start System Restore, save any open files and close all programs. System Restore will restart your PC.

1)Open System Restore by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type System Restore, and then, in the list of results, click System Restore.
2)Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3)Follow the steps in the wizard to choose a restore point and restore your computer.

Try restoring from boot menu :
1)Turn off your computer by clicking on the "Start" menu and then "Shut Down."

2)Turn on your computer. While it begins to boot press the "F8" button continuously. This will bring up the "Windows Advanced Options" menu.

3)Click on "Last Known Good Configuration" by using your ARROW keys. Click "Enter."

4)Click on your operating system, such as Windows XP/Vista/7, when the boot menu appears. You will need to use your ARROW keys to select your operating system. Press "Enter" on your computer. Your computer will now be restored.

It will wipe your data if you reinstall OS :
1) First of all You need .iso (Image File ).

2) Now you need any iso tool , I prefer Power ISO (http://www.poweriso.com/download.htm)

3) Now You will also need atlest 4gb Reommended 8gb usb flash drive.

4) Run Power Iso in Administrator mode.

5)Then go to TOOLS--> Create a Bootable USB Drive...

6)Browse the .iso file in Source Image file tab.

7)Select the Appropriate Destination Drive and leave rest to defaults.
(Note your usb disk will flashed during this process so data will be lost , taking backup is advised )

8) Click Start and let the process Finish.

9) Now to install Reboot pc and enter BIOS( press f2 or delete when it boots).

10) Now boot priority menu select the USB option and move it to TOP, save changes (f10 generally) and exit.

11) PC will reboot automatically and now your pc will boot from usb to the windows os and then proceed to Installation.

Happy Installing :)

Well there is option you can freshly install os and keep old windows file if you need its simple but i would not do so as clean install is better.
