Hello!

I recently got my hands on a used Dell Optiplex 745 Small Form.
However, there was only 2x 256MB RAM.
When I checked this spec sheet:
http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/...

I noticed that my PC supports up to 8GB (4x2) DDR2 800mhz.

So I checked my local ebay for some cheap sticks, and I am wondering if these are any good (And if they even fit):

Any help appreciated!

I'd be a little skeptical buying such components on Ebay, though those should work fine for you.

The ebay sticks will work. according to the dell webpage the board will not support 2GB DIMM in 800MHz, so the 4x1gb will work fine.

Okay, I totally understand you. But I am going with the cheapest option, as this is a secondary PC.
I havent decided yet if I will use it as a HTPC or not :)

Thanks for your opinion!

Yeah, I noticed that. I am aiming for 4gb as I think 8GB would be overkill for an old PC. Thank you guys for your anser, I have pretty much decided to buy the sticks already ^^
