I wish to build or buy a computer that can be updated. My thoughts is a better motherboard with lesser hardware. like only 8g of memory, Maybe no video card or an inexpensive one. A 500gb of hard drive. all of which I update later.
Any suggestions.

Thanks for the reply Traciatim. I would like a 4 core cpu.If right mobo I could update that also.
I have windows 7, Monitor, keyboard etc.. I don't think I can use parts from old computer. It is like 10years old.

If you aren't gaming then either of the linked ones from davefowler will do. If you are I would probably want to grab a real video card though. What is the budget though, and what are you using it for?
