hey, i'm going change cases to fit a custom liquid cooling kit at moment liquid cooling parts i'm getting are XSPC EX240 Multiport Radiator, a EK 4.0 Pump, EK or maybe different waterblock have not decided yet, and my motherboard will also be in the loop Asus maximums V formula , later on once new AMD GPU come out il prob buy water blocks for them and add them to the loop and possibly XSPC RX120 Radiator. aslo a Phobya Balancer 150 Silver Nickel Reservoir. any cases that will fit this? also going be getting UV red dye, want nice case that match it all,

been looking and find it hard pick a case , some are way out of my price range my budget is about $200 or so give take on the case.

^.^ hope ya peeps can help me out

Solution
There are a bunch of cases you can choose from, all these support at least a triple rad and some support an additional 240mm.

In no particular order other than what popped into my head.
NZXT Switch 810
Coolermaster HAF-X (check my build log to see how that's worked out for me, in my sig)
Corsair Air 540
Corsair 800D (if you can go over budget a bit)
NZXT Phantom and Phantom 820.
NZXT H630 (yup, more NZXT)
Silverstone Raven RV-03 (great if your willing to mod, the rear panel is a blank canvas for an external rad).
Bitfenix Shinobi XL

dont get that 150 phobya get the bigger one esp since you plan on adding more later on. the thing is it is to small for my loop and is a pain in the ass to add to while its filling since it will not fill pushing more coolant through a t line.

also might as well get a 360 mm rad right now since its cheaper to just get the 360 over a 240 and a 120.

hopefully i can find a nice case that will work for you

in terms of weight and size what is less? , seems most people go with full towers, i don't mind full tower, but my antec DF 85 has bad cable management with my HX850 corsair PSU even though its modular the case design over all sucks and cables can't reach to all areas i want it to go to due to it, i been looking at 600t by corsair, i thought maybe that 360 rads would be too big to put in it, but i will go with full tower longs it just don't weight a ton, my desk only has capacity to hold about 45 to 50 killo grams

thinking something like that, but if a thicker rad is better way to go... then it may not work,

similar but thicker rad don't think be able do push pull though.

No need to increase the size of a reservoir, even if the loop grows much larger. Reservoir size does nothing for the cooling ability of the loop; it only serves to hold extra water for purging excess air and ease when filling the loop.

ah well on the floor it picks up lot dust lol... , is it possible to have a custom loop maintenance free? or almost ? just distilled water? and maybe drop of nuke in there once in a bit? clearly il drain the loop , but i want a nice clean setup that be less maintenance then what i have seen, last thing i want is my loop cloging up :S

I have my case on the floor. Better than on my desk, my HAF-X is huge!

If you pick the right parts (No Aluminium, try to avoid internal Nickel plating) and use Distilled water with a Biocide or Kill-coil, you can have a fairly maintenance free loop. Even the obligatory "drain and re-fill every 6 months" is more cautionary than essential.

yeah it is a HUGE case massive them HAF X cases , and ah that's cool , read lot people had bad experience with dye and UV active coolants , i may just keep my antec DF 85 case and get some sleeved cable extensions, i like the case, i mean its got soo many fans its crazy, but the over all desgn is not really suited for liquid cooling the hdd slots are not cages and are solded together so i cannot remove it so i can't put any rads on front , thus why i was looking at 600t, lot people say can get a 240 rad up top and 140 on the front in push pull config, the top will be a pull config , i'm thinking it should be enough for for my CPU+mobo and future GPUs added to loop , price is a concern i live in Australia, and most of stuff here is over priced, and looking at cost il be spending$400 to $500 just getting a new case and liquid cooling kit, and ideal for that price i could get new hardware ... :( , i'm STUCK!!! , not sure if price is worth it thats biggest question .

:D I'm also Australian. Stuff be expensive down here, I know your pain.

A 240+140mm I think will be fine for a CPU+mobo, though adding in a GPU might be a bit too much.

With a case like the Dark Fleet, I reckon you could get away (aesthetically) with an external rad. With how tall the case is and how high that top (80mm?) fan is, I reckon you could hang up to a 480mm rad off the back of the thing. Have a 240mm internally, and you would be well and truly set for whatever you wanted to throw at the loop.

I would build build a nice CPU loop with a 240mm rad, from there decide whether you want to go further and include GPU's or not.

yeh i i'm going keep case and do external rad for when i get new amd GPUs and block it can support a 240 rad and a 140 internally, i can do push pull i think up top think enough space il have measure it, and i have space for a really thick 120 push pull or a 240 thin slim rad , and yeh it has tubing holes for external rad , i completely forget about external rads.... XD all i need to do is fix the cable management, i def need some sleeved cable extension , at moment my 24pin mobo and GPU pins are unable reach if i cable through back , btw is is red coolant safe to use? i has seen up and downs with people saying they get clog systems and have clean everything , if i drain my loop every 6 months i should avoid any of them issues?
