Had a previous build, so i wanted to upgrade. I got a new motherboard, new psu and cpu. When i installed all the parts, i booted the pc and it was working. I put in my USB, and started to install Windows, when in got to the driver part, it couldn't find any, so i went to bios and changed it to raid, and now when i boot it it says "no array is defined" "Press Ctrl-f to enter raid option ROM utility". Nothing works, unplugged the cables, resetted cmos, nothing. Cant get further, now im just stuck. Please anyone, help!!!

Just don't forget to set SATA mode to AHCI in your BIOS.

If Windows still won't see your drive when trying to install it, as previously suggested by no_idea77 you can press F6 at the beginning of Windows installation and provide your own drivers for your SATA controller (you need to save them on a USB key first or diskette).

I cant get into BIOS. It just goes directly to the 'No array is defined' i cant do anything. I spam every button to just hope for something else to pop up.

Are you sure you're pressing the right button to get in the BIOS instead of pressing on everything? Just check your mobo manual to make sure you press on the right one.

In any case, just reset CMOS battery to revert to BIOS factory default.

And there's no point in selecting RAID if you are not going to use RAID for real (need at least 2 HDDs to do that) otherwise it can only cause problems. When you get back to the BIOS, make sure you change SATA mode to AHCI, this is what will give you the best performance.

GA-990FXA-UD3 rev 3.0. Just got it home.. It worked perfectly fine in bios etc. Just tried to switch to RAID, and nothing. Not even the CTRL-F Works. Nor ESC. Nothing. CMOS doesnt Work either by resetting. Don't know why or how that nothing Works.

To enter BIOS it's DEL. And i knew that since i already have entered BIOS before. I also did reset the CMOS battery by taking it out. Didnt help either. I've tried to hit DEL 100k times, and other buttons. Nothing Works. That's whats bothering me, that not even cmos helps, where it should be.. :(
