Yes, it would be compatible but it is not a good PSU. I mean it is not even 80 Plus certified so you should stay away from that PSU. Get at least a CX 500 or get the 550W 80 Plus Bronze PSU's from Seasonic or XFX. They both make good PSU's (XFX's PSU's are made by Seasonic.)

It's not 80+ because it is only 240v otherwise is actually similar quality than the cx series. If you want to save some money they are fine.

Yeah.. but PSU is not something you would want to save money in.. It is pretty important part of the PC. You must be knowing about the importance of PSU which is why I don't suggest that PSU. XFX and Seasonic are the best.

You save money on any component but you stick with good quality. Sure if you want better hardware you need to spend more but you can also waste money with "better" hardware.

I don't think that upping from an Uncertified PSU to a Certified PSU is a "waste" of money at all. Really, it is not like that.

Anyways this is the PSU I would recommend. It is currently selling for 7-8 dollars cheaper than the 500W Version which makes it a definite buy

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($37.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $37.99
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

I hope this helps.

Here's something you should know about the certification. A psu distributor can take a good psu design, let's say it's 80+ gold, stick bad quality parts in it and sell it with a 80+ gold badge when it doesn't even meet 80+. This is why you have so many people saying to buy from reputable companies. Don't throw the certification out their like it's a sign of quality. Mention something like it has junfu caps, then we'll get somewhere. Both vs and cx psus meet the bronze efficiency levels but as I said, being only 240v means it's not eligible for cert. But really if you can afford a gtx 660, you can get a higher quality psu. I wouldn't go with vs or cx.

Just throwing this out there, but the US uses 120v not 240v so they aren't in US which makes newegg links/US prices useless.

Belive me, I have idea about that but since the CX 600 is being sold for so cheaper so it is better to get that instead of the VS.

Also I only suggest PSU's from these companies

1. XFX
2. Seasonic
3. Corsair
4. OCZ (the ones on that site below)
5. Antec (the ones on that site below)
6. EVGA SuperNova PSU's

Basically I follow this post and so should everyone. Below is the link
