Do I need to reapply thermal paste?

I'm running a i5 3570k using a xigmatek $25 cooler. I ran a 5 min torture test using prime95 and all 4 cores were between 70 and 75 degrees c. I'm wondering if the high temperatures are normal, if I need to reapply thermal paste or add more fans to my case? Keep in mind that the ambient temperature in my house is about 88(31c) degrees F. Thanks a lot!

Why would you use two different temperature scales?

For an 88F ambient temp, your CPU temps doesn't sound too bed.

70-75 is ok
100 will cause system shutdown.

Hi,
Got a few questions

1- CPU overclocked ?
2- Prime05 has been running for how long?

If you run @ stock or overclocked : temps are fine, I would keep it below 80

No overclocking and prime05 test for 5 minutes. I'm planning on overclocking in the near future, but the high temperatures have me a bit worried.
