actually my point is..we dont make our pc everyday.. if u pare your 7950 with 8350..it will roar like a beast..;) this is also a decent build.. but pairing it 8350 will be a kick ass gaming pc.. so if u can try go for 8350... i am also planning to build a gaming pc.. previously i was also thinking of 6300..but then i did a lot of research ..and concluded that 8350 is a long term benefit..thats why i shifted from 7950 to 7870 oc... hope this helps

Looks good for the most part.

I recommend against that PSU. OCZ is a poor PSU manufacturer (never skimp on the PSU).
try this instead, XFX 550W.

the 6300 is the best bang for the buck in the FX lineup right now, due in large part to it's overclockability. The 8350's main advantage over the 6300 is clock speed, it's extra cores don't help much in gaming (currently, crysis3 is the only game that can use more than 4).

That having been said, the 965 black is a stronger gaming processor than the 6300, is just as overclockable, and is usually cheaper.

ok so im trying to make cuts into my mouse and keyboard to get the fx 8350 that puts my price to £667.50 but I need a mouse and keyboard on the cheap

Unless you want to try your hand at overclocking (and you'll need to add an aftermarket cooler if you do), you should go for an intel build. On that budget you can easily fit an i5 without sacrificing anything and still have almost 130 pounds left for mouse, keyboard & headset.

The i5 is a stronger processor than either AMD solution.

I'm assuming the 250gb HDD is from an old machine you already have.
