Will Total War Rome 2 run on windows vista?

It says it cant but I was wondering if it can(I know I should really upgrade :/). Its 64 bit and I have 8gb of ram.
The rest of my specs:
AMD Phenom X4 9750 2.4 GHz
XFX 7750 1gb GDDR5
8 gigs of RAM

Your OS shouldn't matter when running ultra, unless you are still on XP. Vista had DirectX11 support added in Service Pack 2. Problem is, you aren't going to get high/ultra with your setup at decent framerates, your CPU and graphics card are likely to be too slow for that.

ok but for the high/ultra requirements it requires windows 7 not vista correct?
