Just got my new budget system built and im going to pick up a hard drive to put windows 7 on. The thing is i did not budget for or buy a cd/dvd writer. Should i get one or borrow one just to install the disk that came with my motherboard? Its a m5a97 r2.0

Solution
Sure, just a straight download to your PC and run it from there, to get your current BIOS version, just go into the BIOS, it will show the version

You may not need another pc, but if the network drivers are not installed and windows does not know the device, you will not be able to connect to the internet.
