Missing files from hdd (partition D)

You could try doing a thorough CHKDSK on the drive, but personally I first would recommend you try a file recovery program being it looks like your recycle bin has been cleared. If you do a CHKDSK on the drive first there is a chance you will make some of the files none recoverable if that doesnt fix your problem.
