The APU serie is only good when you're not getting a discrete GPU. As you are getting a GPU, or already have one, you don't want to get an APU. The processors on them are slower, plus you won't even make use of the integrated graphics that it has.
I want to play pc games with same or better performance and graphics as the new ps4/Xbox1 as I can not afford the new consoles so I'm deciding to upgrade my pc only got £200-£250 to do it I'm thinking of getting either GeForce gtx650 ti boost or hd7770 of eBay £100 and a corsair 500w power supply for £50 and either a8 5600k or athlon 2 x4 750k would this set up allow me to do that.
I also have 8gb 1333 ram

Could you recommend either one of them or a differant graphic card and cpu in my remaining £200 budget that would allow me to play pc game in high settings with good frame rate
