Tried to crossfire 2 7850's, BSOD on startup

so i just hooked up my second sapphire 7850 OC edition, on startup i get a BSOD that says Driver Framework Violation.... 0x0000010D is the error with a lot of 0's in parenthesis's afterwards.

my first 7850 is a sapphire but not OC and i did some research and people said it was ok to have 1 OC and 1 not.

i cant start my pc in safe mode to install any driver and my windows was updated within the last week.. i think i might have shorted something or did something else...

i unpluged the power from the new gpu and restarted it, and got the same error

any ideas?

Try each gpu by itself in the first pcie slot to be sure they both work. Then try each on the slot you will use for xfire. If both work in both slots, install one in the primary, COMPLETELY remove your drivers and AMD software, reinstall the latest certified driver from AMD (not from disc or gpu maker) along with catalyst control center and then install second card and set drivers for xfire.

the thing is i disable so the only gpu i have active now is the one i always use.. so shouldn't work by itself? and i cant get into the main windows screen... there is a BSOD as soon as i start up... i cant even go into safe mode

the thing is i disable so the only gpu i have active now is the one i always use.. so shouldn't work by itself? and i cant get into the main windows screen... there is a BSOD as soon as i start up... i cant even go into safe mode

ok i have simplified the problem to RzFilter.sys
i cant restore the computer to preiuos day because it gives me an unspecified error when restore to a previous date..... i tried putting the single card in and it didnt work.... i cant launch safemode... can anyone throw me a bone here?
