Hey everyone,

So I'm considering upgrading some hardware on my rig, but I'm unsure what option would yield the best results (as far as price/performance is concerned.)

This is my current build:
AMD FX-8120 3.1 ghz
GTX 560 2gb
Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2
8 gb ram
800w psu
1 TB HD

My first option would be to upgrade my GTX 560 to a newer GTX 670. According to my research, this should lead to about a 50% performance gain. Next, I could perhaps overclock my FX-8120, or buy an entirely new processor. (The Bulldozer series gets a whole lot of criticism but I have mostly good things to say about mine.) Keep in mind, I'm upgrading now primarily to be ready for the Fall game releases (Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed 4, etc.)

All feedback is appreciated.

Your CPU is fine, I don't think you would need to upgrade that. I would upgrade your GPU. You have the wattage, so your fine there. You could get an aftermarket cooler so you could OC your CPU. Try and get the 700 series, if your budget allows, 780. If you can't afford that, then a 770 will be just fine.
