Hello!
I bought a new RAM a few weeks ago, they were Mushkin Enhanced Redline 8GB (1866 model), and tried to install it on my PC but all my desktop did was beep and shut down. I eventually found out that with my motherboard, I have to press relatively hard for the ram sticks to click in. I installed the Redlines but there was no display. I then installed my old 4gb ram, and the display was fine. I recently checked crucial to see if my ram was REALLY incompatible, and it turns out that the ram I bought actually WAS compatible. The redlines are PC3-14900, and crucial says that PC3-14900 is compatible with my mobo, but every time I try to install it I get no display.
Any tips?

CPU is an i3 3rd gen, the motherboard has 4 slots: Blue, White, Blue, White. I put both the ram in the seperate Blue slots.

Perfect! Although 1.55V wasn't an option, 1.70V did the trick. Many thanks, oh noble Tradesman.
