Is this Asus desktop good for some medium-end gaming.

no, tbh a radeon 7470 will not cut it with modern games, it could do lowest settings with 800x600 resolution at around 20-25, which is kinda playable. have u tried some gaming companies on newegg such as cyberpower, at around the same price u get a better graphics card, i would recommend u to look around the site more.
