RAM for Samsung Series 9 NP900X3C-A02CA

Hello all,

I was considering buying this ultrabook and I was wondering what type of RAM would go best with this system. It only comes with 4 gb, and I'd like to upgrade to 8. Thanks.

I think this laptop comes with win 8 x86. So if it does, upgrading ram won't work. You need to get in touch with ncix somebody there and see if it is x86 or x64 version of windows 8 first.

Really? Why would the architecture prohibit upgrading of the RAM?

If the laptop comes with x86 version of windows. you are only allowed to have 4gb of ram due to 32bit windows. Anything higher than 4GB requires a 64 bit version.

Ahh, I see! Well according to this http://ark.intel.com/products/65707 the processor is 64bit.

So I still don't have an answer as to what type of RAM would go best with this system... are there other restrictions because it is a mobile device?
