If you are looking for the pros and cons of PC vs console gaming. The list is huge and both have their high points and low points. Personally I prefer PC gaming, given a good PC (much like your build) graphics are always better, for FPS, game play is always more accurate, upgradeability, more mature gaming community (generally, COD not included), much larger modding community, blah blah blah, the list goes on. Next gen wont change this much or at all. There are also draws back too though, console gaming is littered with noobs, so not nearly as much skill is required, however I find a higher level of skill is required to be good online with PC for the same game. Also balancing PC graphics for good game play can be an issue, probably not with your build but its a valid point all the same. Still much prefer PC gaming but thats my two cents worth anyway

No no, your 2 cents is welcome.. I don't want to sound like a beginner to gaming because I have been on xboxlive for almost 11 years , not to mention my childhood and teenage years too..

I've have been considering PC for a while but my history with console runs so deep it's hard to jump over without feeling like ill be missing something with the consoles.. I'm 30 years old and have played through the best and worst of online gaming with jerks. The mature or more people friendly atmosphere is def appealing.. Mostly all games that are next gen are hitting PC plus Oculus, and Kinect.

Games like PlanetSide, Arma 3, and a host of other games that I don't have access to are playable either in full , alpha, or beta. So I'm missing great games and great experiences with the best graphics. It's like every 4 months I just come back to wanting a PC, so I know it's time.. I can't wait to start building

on top of better graphics and experience, you can obviously do endless amounts of other stuff on PCs too, so they serve as much more than just gaming. Plus nothing is stopping you from playing ya console every once in a while even if you have a PC. just dont let either know, for them thats cheating =P

Well it's my first time.. I was doing so much back and forth with these different parts that I had to make a choice, otherwise I would still be deciding and pulling my hair out. There are so many possibilities with parts that it to pick one right away is impossible..

I'll tell you , I was scared( and still am) about the " pros and cons" of a component. There's bad things that have happened with component , whether its the best or not... So I was just terrified that something was going to go wrong until I just said FUCK IT... I'm picking these parts and if it breaks or doesn't work then ..... Oh well.

But does ASUS have the better gpu

keyboard & mouse for that much is overkil.. 4tb hdd? you gonna end up in probs partitioning it unless you have a UEFI supported motherboard which a big time hasslement even if it does ..might i suggest 2 tb + 2 TB. the rest depends on what resolution you plan on gaming? 1080p or 1440p?

1440p? I would say whatever the better resolution.. As far as the 2tb ssd.. I have one picked out .. I just didn't add it in this post .. I went with the 4, but if the 2tb will be the best option then explain a little more please

And I will check out the asus GPU today.
