Good day members of this fine community! I am college student who needs a new desktop PC! My 2011 model Samsung laptop is not providing me with the gaming excitement that I oh-so desire so I have decided to construct my own gaming rig for UNDER $800! Below, you'll find a list of items that appeal to me (all from NewEgg). Basically, I picked a motherboard and then just found a bunch of items that seem to be compatible with the motherboard. I *think* this would be a great machine but truthfully I really have no clue if this will work at all. And you may notice that I have not chosen a case or power supply because I have no idea what I need. HELP!

Also, if you can recommend any items that would be cheaper than what I selected above, PLEASE recommend them! If you calculate the total price of everything I have selected, it is running a bit on the $$$$$$$$$ side of things.

Oh, that looks much better than what I put together. And more powerful! I think I'll save these specs. This might just be the machine that I attempt to build.

And, uh, any advice on any extras I might need? Like internal cables to hook stuff together?

Awesome! Well, that took a lot less time than I thought it would.

Thanks!
