Specs: Gigabyte H61M-DS2, Corsair HX750 Gold PSU, Corsair Graphite 600T, Seagate 1TB

Earlier my PSU was damaged and my PC was off for 1-2 weeks .. i bought a new Corsair HX750 Gold PSU and Graphite 600T case ..
assembled it .. and system was up and running ..
working fine normally for few days
and today morning .. switchin on the AC mains and my UPS switch auto-started my PC WITHOUT me pressing the case's power switch ..

i pressed the cabinet's power switch (in PC off state) repeatedly to remove any mechanical jams that shorts the power switch ..

Switching off the PSU switch..
i removed the front panel header's PWR SW cable .. and then to my surprise even without the power switch cable being connected to front panel header .. after i switched on the PSU switch .. PC again auto-started on its own ..

i've also removed off and reconnected the 24-pin cord..

PC works normally .. after shutdown and reboot .. its just that it auto-starts when AC mains is switched on 1st time ..
and whenever it happens, most of the times i get CMOS checksum error .. and my UEFI BIOS settings resets to default settings .. and i have to manually set it again ..

i guess it being a fault of the mobo which gets the PSU on even when the power good signal isnt established .. and PSU is forced to supply power to the mobo .. resulting in CMOS checksum error while POST initiation ..

so asking if is it the fault of the Mobo ..
and do i have to take any more troubleshooting steps ..
