So recently I purchased the AMD FX-8350 Vishera series, and I've been using CoreTemp to watch its temperature readings, and its been sitting(when my computer is at idle) from 8-13 degrees. I've hears that AMD FX processors arent accurate until about 50 degrees, but is something as low as 8 degrees still a reasonable thing to be told?
8C is absolutely fine if it is typically ~46-47F inside your home. If it is not that cold, then your temps are off...no big deal...they're typically a little crazy on some MBs below a certain threshold, as you have already been reading. Usually they are accurate around 35-40C and up...don't ask me why...only the MB temp sensor gods know why.
