I'd go the 3570K, even if not thinking OCing now, a few months or more down the road, when the system starts slowing, as they all do when they get more and more on them, can OC and extend the 'life' and continue to do so, I've had mine since they were released and figure it's it'll keep going for another 5 years or more, and still be powerful enough to keep most anyone happy

If the mobo is a definite, then the 3470 and 3570K are out as they are Intel and run on the socket 1155 mobos - though have to say th e3570K is the best CPU of those you listed.......7870 is better than straight 660 - though 660TI is better than 7870.......8GB is good........1TB should be enough....Seagate and WD are both good, I lean towards WD....FPS you get depends on the total package mobo, CPU, GPU, DRAM, etc

The 8350 does better at rendering, but if you look at the Benchmaeks, you'll see the 8350 is at it's stock of 4 GHz and the 3570K is at it's stock of 3.4 - put both at 4.0 and things change alot, then continue the OC, both will normally do up to about 4.7 or better and at each step the 3570K shows better numbers that increase (4.1, 4.2, 4.3 etc) so closk for clock, the 3570K far exceeds the 8350

I`d go with the 8350 because next gen games will support 8 core processors because Xbox one has an amd 8 core proccesor in there console ... the 3570k out performer the 8350 in most areas by 10% but if you want to stream or record , render ect. then the 8350 is better for you because its better at multitasking . So to round it up , if you want to just game then i recommend the 3570k ,but if you want to make videos and live steam then the 8350 is a better choice. but if you have enough money for i7 then thats the best bet because then you are getting the best of both worlds .
