motherboards are produced to match a form standard. In this case your motherboard is ATX, so any case that supports 'ATX' will fit your motherboard.

other standards you'll see often are matx which is a smaller (micro) atx, and (rare) eatx which is extended atx (larger). most all mid-tower or larger cases fit atx motherboards but some smaller, unconventional cases only support matx or even smaller boards.

that case is pretty much as good as it gets at that price, but feel free to shop around for other atx cases.

I looked at the motherboard listed here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128565 and it seems to be a micro atx which won't fit the case he recommended because its an at case... Am I right

half correct. Your motherboard is definitely a micro atx, but the case specifies:

"Motherboard Compatibility: Micro ATX / ATX"

This will be the case with most atx cases. Generally case makers take the step to add holes for the smaller motherboards too. It's pretty much the standard that ATX cases will take mATX or atx, or Eatx cases will also take atx & matx, etc.

good on you for trying to at least understand it. The clearest answer is that YES this case will take your motherboard. ATX is the largest size it will take, but they also have the correct (extra) mounting points for a mATX motherboard, so that fits too. Mid-towers also tend to be the cheapest because smaller cases require special engineering and larger cases require more, and more expensive materials.. so mid-towers are the budget range.
