I just did an upgrade on my PC, and now that left is the GPU to upgrade. I need some suggestions on what you guys think and what not. The one problem I have is my PSU is only 750w, so I have to keep my GPU to that limit. A little bit about myself, I am not a hardcore gamer, I play games like bf3 once in a while and stuff, but the whole reason why I even build a PC is because i like it. I never have use my PC to its potential, but I like to do overclock and stuff, just to get the best out of my components. It may sounds a little weird to you, but like i mentioned I went through all those troubles just because I enjoy doing it. Now back to the question, my first question is how does 7990 work? Is it just pretty much 7970 CF? Does it still consider a single card? or rather CF? I have been reading quite a bit about 7990 (there's not a lot), and some complain about the drivers, though the benchmark is very impressive. I am not looking to spend over $800 on GPU upgrade. I've been thinking of either doing SLI GTX 670, 760, 770 or a single 7990. I plan to overclock both GPU if I am doing SLI, and I will be getting only Asus (fan boy). What do you so the best value out of those? I've seen a lot of benchmark and I don't see a big difference between 670 vs 770 SLI, is it worth the extra $150? So far, Gtx 760 SLI $500. Gtx 670 SLI $650. Gtx 770 SLI $800. HD 7990 $720. The games I am planning to play are pretty much all the new games that are coming out to PC, BF4, Watch dog, Witcher3 etc. I game on a single monitor 24" Asus 144hz, so I like to keep all my games 100+fps, at least high settings.

*I have a full tower so size won't be a problem. I have a pretty good airflow in my case so heating won't be an issue as far as I see.

FX 8320 4.5Ghz
H100i cooling with push and pull set up
750w Rosewill PSU
Asus Sabertooth Mobo

Thank you for all the inputs.

Can you wait for a new gpu? Cause amd new 9000 series are launching in sept n oct. In dt case I suggest the 9970. Just google d specs of dt. Sli n cf both have issues n known fact that not all games accept dual gpu.

what would the launch price be though? And to clarify my question about 7990, is the driver base off crossfire? or it has its own driver as a single GPU? I mean if i but 7990 would i have the same problems that 7970s crossfire has?
