Which is the better budget build?

Solution
You left out the HDD on the FX-6300 build, so you might need to revise your plan in any case.
If you need to stay within that 500 budget, the A10 is not a bad choice.

Upgrading to discrete graphics in the future for upgrade.

The fx 6300 is more upgradable for sure, 32gb of ram, and the am3 socket.. My suggestion would be the 6core build.. There isnt much difference in the price, and you will have alot more maneuverablity in the future.. Also, the 7850 graphics is a good card, but right now newegg has the 7870 ghz edition 2gb on sale for 179.. so basically for 30 dollars more you get two more games, 1gb more bandwidth and alot better graphics card.. Spend it

i just quick built this for a kid on here, the asrock 970 extreme 3 board shows 109 on pcpartpicker, but it is really $79 on newegg, so that brings the build down to $503.. Woot. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1utk0 u get a 6 core, name brand parts, and a badass video card.. This card runs a little loud but plays games on ultra no prob.. I have it in my build
